Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 30, 2026
Your data stays on your device. Reclaim does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to any server. There are no user accounts, no user IDs, and no way to identify you.
1. What Reclaim Stores on Your Device
All personal data lives exclusively in a local SQLite database on your iPhone. This includes:
- Onboarding responses — age range, self-assessment answers, and baseline wellness inputs
- Journal entries — daily check-in data including relapse status, urge intensity, triggers, sleep, stress, and mood
- Session history — records of kegel training, mindfulness, and panic support sessions including duration and ratings
- Wellness scores and progress — four rolling scores (PDS, PSS, WS, TRS), streaks, milestones, and mastery progress
- Settings and preferences — notification schedules, feedback preferences, and session defaults
- Local event logs — timestamps used to calculate scores and manage notification frequency
Sensitive Data
Reclaim stores health-related and sexual wellness data, including information about pornography use, relapse events, and addiction recovery progress. This data is classified as sensitive personal information. It is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to any server.
2. Server-Side Computation (Edge Functions)
Reclaim uses Supabase Edge Functions for two types of computation. Edge Functions are stateless server-side programs that process a request and return a result immediately, without storing any data.
Score Calculations
When your scores are recalculated, the app sends aggregated numeric metrics (such as streak length, session counts, and journal averages) to an Edge Function. The function computes your updated scores and returns them. No user ID, device identifier, or personal information is included in the request. The input data is processed in memory and immediately discarded — nothing is written to any database or log.
Session Compositions
When you start a kegel, panic, or mindfulness session, the app sends behavioral parameters (such as your current score tier and session count) to an Edge Function. The function generates a personalized session plan and returns it. Again, no user ID or personal information is attached, and no data is stored server-side.
3. Anonymous Onboarding Counters
To understand how the onboarding flow performs (for example, which screens users complete and where they drop off), Reclaim increments anonymous counters on the server. These counters record only a screen name, an event type, and a date. No user ID, device identifier, IP address, or personal information is included. Individual users cannot be identified or tracked from these counters.
4. Audio Content Downloads
Reclaim downloads guided audio content from a public content delivery network during initial setup. These are standard HTTPS requests for static audio files. No personal data, identifiers, or cookies are sent. Once downloaded, all audio plays from local storage.
5. Subscription Management (RevenueCat)
Reclaim uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes your purchase through Apple's App Store and manages subscription status. RevenueCat assigns its own anonymous identifier to track subscription entitlements. Reclaim does not send any personal data to RevenueCat beyond what Apple provides during the purchase flow. For details on how RevenueCat handles data, see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
6. Advertising & Analytics SDKs
To measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns, Reclaim includes advertising SDKs from Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok. These SDKs may collect:
- Device advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you grant permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt
- App events — install, trial start, and subscription (no health data, no journal entries, no wellness scores)
- Device type and OS version
This data is used solely for measuring ad performance and optimizing campaigns. It is NOT linked to your personal identity — Reclaim has no user accounts and collects no personal information. You can opt out of ad tracking by selecting "Ask App Not to Track" when prompted. The app functions identically regardless of your choice.
For more information, see the Meta Privacy Policy and TikTok Privacy Policy.
7. What Reclaim Does Not Do
- Does not create or require user accounts
- Does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data
- Does not store any personal data on any server
- Does not share health data, journal entries, or wellness scores with any third party
- Does not use cookies or web tracking technologies
- Advertising SDKs receive only aggregate app events (install, trial, purchase) — never personal health information
8. Notifications
Reclaim uses local notifications for practice reminders and progress updates. These are generated entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers. You control preferences in the app settings and in iOS Settings > Notifications > Reclaim.
9. App Tracking Transparency
Reclaim uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework to request your permission before collecting the advertising identifier (IDFA). If you choose "Ask App Not to Track," no IDFA is collected and ad attribution relies on Apple's SKAdNetwork. The app functions identically regardless of your choice. You can change your preference at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
10. App Store Privacy Label
Reclaim's App Store privacy label declares data collection limited to Device ID (IDFA) for advertising purposes, collected only with your permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt. No personal health data is collected from your device or transmitted to any server.
11. Your Choices and Data Control
- Control ad tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt or iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
- Control notifications through app or iOS Settings
- Choose what information to enter in journals and sessions
- Delete the app at any time — this permanently removes all local data
Data Deletion
Because no personal data is stored on any server, there is nothing to delete remotely. All your data lives on your device. Deleting the app permanently erases everything. No account deletion process is needed because no account exists.
12. California (CCPA) and European (GDPR) Rights
Reclaim does not collect or store personal data on any server. All health and wellness data is on your device and under your complete control. Reclaim does not sell personal data. Advertising SDKs (Section 6) receive only aggregate app events for ad measurement — no personal health data is shared. You can opt out of ad tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
13. Age Requirement
Reclaim is intended for adults aged 18 and older and carries a 17+ App Store rating. Reclaim does not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If you believe a minor has accessed this app, contact us at support@try-reclaim.com.
14. Health Disclaimer
Reclaim is a self-guided wellness tool, not a medical device. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. If you are in crisis, contact emergency services or the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988 in the US).
